Chennai  Maria Nivas  Adoration Convent (1992)

The Apostle work in different areas and places flowered and flourished over the year and new ventures outside Kerala were sought. It was a dream of ours to have a convent near Mailapur Mount which was sanctified by the blood of our father St.Thomas. When major cities of India were assigned with to various provinces by the general Synaxis Changanacherry province obtained Ottery. The commencement of our convent here in 1993 paved the way for the members of the Syro-Malbar Church to have common gathering. In the absence of a parish Church the convent chapel is used for the Liturgical and Spiritual needs of the laity. Holy Qurbana, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, House visits etc;are  occasions for them to assemble.
